Role summary
PlayStation Product Development is seeking a Senior Ecosystem Engineer to contribute to the development of their hardware product ecosystem, focusing on future gaming experiences. This role involves writing and maintaining product specifications and validation plans, leading validation activities with external test labs, and working with remote and international teams. The position requires strong technical writing, analytical, and problem-solving skills, with a deep understanding of hardware/software system integration testing. Experience with CI/CD tools like Jenkins and Jira is preferred. This is an individual contributor role with no direct supervisory responsibilities.
- PlayStation Product Development is looking for a versatile and motivated Ecosystem Engineer to drive the development of PlayStation’s growing hardware product ecosystem. Our PD team is working on future hardware products and gaming experiences around and beyond the console
- Write and maintain PlayStation ecosystem product specifications and validation plans
- Lead product validation activities at external test labs
- Travel occasionally to work with test labs and internal/external engineering teams
- Individual Contributor: Does not have direct supervisory responsibilities nor budgetary or hiring accountabilities
