Role summary

We are seeking a Data Engineer with Tableau and ETL expertise to join our client in Westlake, TX. The role requires a Bachelor's degree in a technical field and 5+ years of experience in data engineering and analytics. Key responsibilities include leveraging strong SQL skills (Snowflake, SQL Server), Python for data manipulation, and ETL technologies like Alteryx Designer. Proficiency in Tableau, Power BI, and Power Automate for workflow automation is essential. A solid understanding of data models, ETL/ELT concepts, API integration, and data governance fundamentals is also required. Experience with OBIEE and OAS is a must-have.

We are sourcing a
Data Engineer (Tableau and ETL)
to work at our client's location in
Westlake, TX.

The Expertise and Skills You Bring:

- Bachelor’s degree in a technical field and
5+ years of experience
in data engineering and analytics.
- Strong expertise in
SQL
(Snowflake, SQL Server) is a must and Python for data manipulation and automation.
- Hands-on experience with
ETL technologies
and practical experience using
Alteryx Designer
for workflow creation and optimization.
- Extensive experience in
Tableau
and
Power BI
, including advanced visualization techniques and dashboard performance tuning.
- Experience with
Power Automate
for workflow automation.
- Solid understanding of
data models
(relational and dimensional) and
ETL/ELT concepts/tools
.
- API integration experience is required.
- Ability to set up monitoring, alerts, and auditing for data workflows.
- Solid grasp of
data governance fundamentals
, including data security, standards, and process refinement.
- Front end experience.

MUST HAVE
: OBIEE, OAS (Oracle Analytics), some Power BI
