Job Summary– Data Engineer (Data Center & Infrastructure Analytics)

We are seeking a Data Engineer to design, build, and maintain scalable data systems that support data center operations, infrastructure monitoring, and operational analytics. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in data analytics and engineering, with experience handling large volumes of telemetry, system logs, and infrastructure performance data.

This role will work closely with infrastructure, operations, and analytics teams to develop data pipelines and platforms that enable real-time monitoring, performance analysis, and data-driven decision-making across data center environments.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design and develop scalable data pipelines and ETL/ELT workflows to ingest and process large volumes of infrastructure telemetry, server logs, and monitoring data.
  • Build and maintain data platforms and data lakes that support analytics for data center operations and performance monitoring.
  • Integrate data from multiple sources such as servers, network devices, monitoring tools, and operational systems into centralized data platforms.
  • Develop batch and real-time data processing systems using modern data engineering frameworks and distributed processing tools.
  • Implement efficient data models and data warehouse structures to support reporting, operational analytics, and capacity planning.
  • Ensure high data quality, reliability, and pipeline performance through monitoring, validation, and optimization techniques.
  • Collaborate with infrastructure and engineering teams to analyze server performance, power utilization, cooling efficiency, and operational metrics.
  • Build datasets and data services that support dashboards, alerts, and operational insights.
  • Optimize data storage and processing systems to handle high-volume, high-velocity infrastructure data.
  • Document data architecture, pipelines, and best practices for data management and governance.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Data Science, or a related field.
  • 4+ years of experience in data analytics, data engineering, or infrastructure data platforms.
  • Strong proficiency in SQL and Python for data transformation and pipeline development.
  • Experience building and maintaining ETL pipelines and data workflows.
  • Knowledge of data warehousing concepts, data modeling, and distributed data processing.
  • Experience working with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
  • Familiarity with big data technologies such as Apache Spark, Kafka, or Hadoop.
  • Experience handling large-scale log data, monitoring metrics, or telemetry data is a plus.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and collaboration skills.
