Senior Engineer (Job #SB-0613)
Role summary
Postman is seeking a Senior Engineer to design, implement, and manage scalable and secure cloud infrastructure on major platforms like AWS, Azure, or GCP. This role involves extensive use of Kubernetes for container orchestration, GitOps for continuous delivery, and Infrastructure as Code tools such as Terraform and Helm. The engineer will also manage monitoring, logging, and security best practices, ensuring compliance with industry standards. The position requires a Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Computer Science or a related field, with a minimum of 5 years of progressive experience in Kubernetes, cloud platforms, container technology, CI/CD systems, Infrastructure as Code, monitoring/logging tools, Python, and secrets management with Vault. The role is based in San Francisco, CA, with an annual salary range of $213,512 to $275,000, plus equity and benefits. This is an onsite position.

This role is based in San Francisco, California, and we are offering a wage range of $213,512 to $275,000 per year, plus a competitive equity package. Actual compensation is based on the candidate's skills, qualifications, and experience. At Postman we value in person collaboration. We are in office 5 days a week for all roles based out of our hubs in San Francisco Bay Area, Boston, Austin, Tokyo and London. For roles based in Bangalore, employees currently work in the office three days a week and will transition to five days per week by the end of the year.
