Job Title: Information Security Engineer

Location: United States — Onsite / Hybrid / Remote

Employment Type: W2 · Full-time · All immigration statuses accepted

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design, implement, and maintain security solutions to protect enterprise systems, networks, and data from cyber threats.
  • Monitor security events and alerts using Security Information and Event Management (SIEM) tools to detect suspicious activities and potential security incidents.
  • Conduct vulnerability assessments and coordinate remediation efforts to address security risks across infrastructure and applications.
  • Implement and manage security controls including firewalls, intrusion detection and prevention systems (IDS/IPS), endpoint protection, and data loss prevention (DLP).
  • Perform security risk assessments and recommend improvements to strengthen the organization’s security posture.
  • Collaborate with infrastructure, cloud, and application teams to ensure secure system architecture and compliance with security standards.
  • Implement identity and access management (IAM) controls including authentication, authorization, and privileged access management.
  • Support security incident response activities including investigation, containment, and remediation of cyber incidents.
  • Conduct security testing including penetration testing coordination and application security assessments.
  • Develop and maintain security policies, procedures, and technical documentation.
  • Implement security best practices for cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
  • Assist with compliance initiatives related to standards such as ISO 27001, SOC 2, NIST, HIPAA, or PCI-DSS.
  • Automate security monitoring and response processes using scripting and security automation tools.
  • Collaborate with DevOps teams to integrate security into CI/CD pipelines and implement DevSecOps practices.
  • Participate in security awareness initiatives and provide guidance to internal teams on secure development and operational practices.
