Job Summary
We are seeking a highly experienced
Lead Data Engineer
with strong expertise in
Microsoft Fabric and Azure Data Engineering ecosystem
. The ideal candidate will have a
minimum of 13+ years of experience
, primarily with reputed organizations in India, along with
hands-on experience working in the USA environment
. This role demands deep technical proficiency, leadership capabilities, and excellent communication skills to drive enterprise-scale data solutions.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the design, development, and deployment of scalable data pipelines and architectures using
Microsoft Fabric and Azure
.
- Architect and implement modern data platforms including
Lakehouse, Data Warehouse, and Real-time Analytics solutions
.
- Work extensively with
Azure Data Factory, Azure Synapse Analytics, Azure Data Lake, and Fabric components
.
- Build and optimize
ETL/ELT pipelines
for large-scale structured and unstructured data.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Data Scientists, Analysts, and Business stakeholders.
- Define data governance, data quality, and security standards.
- Mentor and guide junior and mid-level data engineers.
- Drive performance tuning, cost optimization, and scalability of data systems.
- Participate in client discussions, requirement gathering, and solution design.
Required Qualifications
- 13+ years of total experience
, with significant experience in top-tier MNCs in India.
- Proven
experience working in the USA (projects or employment)
.
- Strong expertise in:
- Microsoft Fabric (mandatory)
- Azure Data Engineering stack
- Data Warehousing and Data Modeling concepts
- Hands-on experience with:
- Azure Data Factory (ADF)
- Azure Synapse / Fabric Warehouse
- Azure Data Lake Storage (ADLS)
- Spark / PySpark
- SQL (advanced level)
- Experience with
real-time data processing and streaming solutions
is a plus.
- Strong understanding of
data architecture patterns
(Medallion architecture, Lakehouse, etc.).
- Exposure to
CI/CD pipelines, DevOps practices
, and cloud deployment models.
