Job Description: We are a growing 3-location pool service company looking to implement AI-driven automation across customer communication, scheduling support, and internal operations.
We are seeking an experienced AI Automation Engineer to design, build, and deploy a secure, production-ready AI system using OpenAI and agent-based tools (e.g., OpenClaw or similar frameworks).
This is a hands-on implementation role with a strong focus on real-world business workflows, safety, and team training.
Responsibilities:
- Design and implement AI workflows using OpenAI (GPT models)
- Set up and configure an AI agent system (OpenClaw or similar)
- Integrate with business tools (CRM, scheduling, SMS/email systems)
- Implement guardrails and security controls (permissions, approvals, sandboxing)
- Prevent prompt injection and unsafe automation behavior
- Build approval-based workflows (human-in-the-loop)
- Test system reliability and edge cases
- Train non-technical team members on usage and safety
Requirements:
- Experience with OpenAI APIs (GPT models, automation workflows)
- Experience with AI agents (OpenClaw, AutoGPT, LangChain, etc.)
- Strong understanding of:
