Role summary

This role is for a Quality Assurance Engineer Specialist in a Printed Circuit Board manufacturing company. The primary responsibility is to ensure products meet high quality and compliance standards by implementing and maintaining quality management systems. Key duties include conducting quality audits, establishing quality control measures, analyzing inspection data, leading quality system enhancement projects, providing training, and reporting on quality metrics. The role requires familiarity with AS9100, ISO 9001, and IPC standards, along with strong analytical and project management skills within a manufacturing environment.

Job Overview

As a Quality Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring that our products meet the highest standards of quality and compliance. You will be at the forefront of implementing and maintaining quality management systems while collaborating with cross-functional teams to drive continuous improvement. Your expertise in regulatory requirements and quality assurance processes will be essential in safeguarding our commitment to excellence.

What you’ll do

  • Develop, implement, and maintain quality management systems in alignment with AS9100, ISO 9001, and IPC standards.
  • Conduct thorough quality audits to ensure compliance with AS9100, ISO 9001 guidelines.
  • Collaborate with manufacturing teams to establish effective quality control measures and inspection protocols.
  • Analyze data from quality inspections to identify trends and areas for improvement, driving proactive solutions.
  • Lead project management initiatives aimed at enhancing quality systems and processes across the organization.
  • Provide training and support to team members on quality assurance practices and methodologies.
  • Prepare detailed reports on quality metrics, audit findings, and corrective actions for stakeholders.
  • Foster a culture of quality awareness throughout the organization by promoting best practices.

Basic qualifications

  • Strong analytical skills with a keen eye for detail.
  • Proven experience in quality engineering or related field within a manufacturing environment.

Preferred qualifications

  • Familiarity withAS9100, ISO 9001, and IPC standards.
  • Experience conducting quality audits and implementing corrective actions based on findings.
  • Excellent project management skills with the ability to lead cross-functional teams effectively.
