Amazon is seeking an experienced Senior Product Manager, Tech, for Prime Video Subscriptions Product to lead the development of innovative customer experiences for third-party subscription plans within the Prime Video app. This role involves defining product strategy, roadmaps, and requirements, and collaborating extensively with cross-functional teams including engineering, design, business development, legal, and finance. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of digital subscription products, be highly analytical, customer-focused, and capable of driving end-to-end product ownership in a fast-paced environment. Experience with analytical tools like Tableau is preferred.

Want to change the way people stream movies and TV? We are seeking an experienced product manager to lead our efforts in building new and innovative experiences in how customers engage with 3rd party subscription plans, delivering a best-in-class entertainment hub experience in the Prime Video app.
As a Senior Product Manager Tech, you will help define and build the roadmap and customer experience for 3rd party subscription plans in the Prime Video app across all clients and geographies. You will participate in developing the strategy and vision, and develop product roadmaps to execute on that vision. This role is inherently cross-functional; you will work closely with engineering, project management, design, operations, finance, legal, business development, customer service, content acquisition, and executive teams to bring products to market, develop and grow business opportunities, and enhance our customer experience.
We are looking for someone with experience in building digital subscription products and who is highly analytical, resourceful, customer focused, team oriented, and has the ability to work independently under time constraints to meet deadlines. You will also have a consistent track record in taking on end-to-end ownership and successfully delivering results in a fast-paced and dynamic business environment.
Key job responsibilities

  • Develop a deep understanding of the Prime Video customer, both existing and potential.
  • Develop a thorough understanding of the digital video market segments, and continually assess the competitive landscape and emerging industry trends.
  • Partner with key stakeholders to define the product vision, strategy, roadmap and supporting metrics required to deliver and enhance a best in class ads experiences
  • Own the development of detailed product requirements documents.
  • Work cross-functionally with engineering, design, and project management teams to deliver on the product roadmap.
  • Drive projects, products, and feature launches with other teams both inside and outside of the Prime Video team including: business development, content acquisition, legal, marketing, finance, customer service, and operations.

About The Team
The PV Subscriptions Product team is part of the broader PV Commerce organization, responsible for building the product/services that improve our ability to acquire and retain customers, and scale PV's global reach.
Basic Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree
  • Experience owning/driving roadmap strategy and definition
  • Experience with feature delivery and tradeoffs of a product
  • Experience managing technical products or online services
  • Experience in representing and advocating for a variety of critical customers and stakeholders during executive-level prioritization and planning

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in using analytical tools, such as Tableau, Qlikview, QuickSight
  • Experience in building and driving adoption of new tools

The base salary range for this position is listed below. Your Amazon package will include sign-on payments and restricted stock units (RSUs). Final compensation will be determined based on factors including experience, qualifications, and location.
