About the Role
We are seeking a
Senior Software Configuration / Release Engineer
to design, automate, and manage cloud infrastructure and release processes across AWS environments. This role is critical to ensuring secure, scalable, and highly available cloud platforms.
Key Responsibilities
- Build and manage
Infrastructure as Code (IaC)
using Terraform
- Automate AWS infrastructure (EC2, S3, RDS, IAM, ACM)
- Develop and support CI/CD pipelines using
AWS Code Suite (CodeCommit, CodeBuild, CodeDeploy, CodePipeline)
- Manage multi-environment deployments (Dev, Test, Stage, Prod)
- Implement
backup, patching, and compliance automation
- Handle
SSL/TLS certificate management
(renewal, rotation, validation)
- Collaborate with DevOps, Security, and Infrastructure teams
- Maintain documentation and governance standards
Required Skills (Must-Have)
- Strong experience with
Terraform & Infrastructure as Code (IaC)
- Deep hands-on expertise in
AWS (EC2, S3, RDS, IAM, ACM)
- Experience with
CI/CD pipelines using AWS Code Suite
- Knowledge of
cloud backup, patch management, and compliance
- Expertise in
SSL/TLS certificate management & cloud security best practices
- Strong troubleshooting and automation mindset
Qualifications
- 8+ years of experience in configuration/release engineering
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field (or equivalent experience)
Nice to Have
- Scripting (Python, Bash, PowerShell)
- AWS / Terraform Certifications
- Government or public sector experience
- Agile / project management exposure
