On behalf of our Government Services client, Procom is searching for a UX Designer - Senior for an 11-month role. This position is a hybrid position with 3 days onsite at our client’s Toronto office.
UX Designer - Senior - Job Description:
The project involves designing user-centric solutions following the Ontario Digital Service Design Playbook. It encompasses multiple delivery phases, including Discovery, Alpha, Beta, and Live, to create and enhance digital services.
UX Designer - Senior - Responsibilities:
- Facilitate the Kick-off meeting and user research activities
- Produce deliverables like Business Model Canvas, User Personas, and User Research Findings Report
- Conduct usability testing and validate prototypes during the Alpha phase
- Lead the creation and validation of user stories in Agile ceremonies
- Conduct accessibility compliance and usability testing during Beta and Live phases
- Analyze user behavior and track KPIs for continuous service improvement
UX Designer - Senior - Mandatory Skills:
- Extensive experience using UX design best practices
- Expertise in UX software such as JustInMind, InVision, Sketch, Adobe Creative Cloud, Axure, Figma, and Zeplin
- Experience with mobile-first and responsive design
- Experience facilitating User Research and Usability Testing
- Strong communication and mediation skills
- Ability to iterate designs efficiently and intelligently
- Experience in Agile (Scrum) methodologies
UX Designer - Senior – Nice-to-Have Skills:
- HTML5, CSS3, and JS skills (React, Angular, NodeJS)
- Degree or certification in usability or human-computer interaction
- Experience in accessibility compliance testing
- Strong stakeholder communication skills
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
UX Designer - Senior – Assignment Length:
This is an 11-month contract position, ending March 31, 2027.

Toronto, Ontario, Canada, with a hybrid work arrangement requiring 3 days onsite per week.
