TITLE:
Sr Azure Infrastructure Engineer
LOCATION:
Hybrid in Portland, Oregon
PAY:
Target pay for this role is dependent on depth of experience & applicable skills and varies between $65/hr to $85/hr, with a target of converting to a full-time salary of somewhere between $135,000 and $175,000
ENGAGEMENT TYPE:
W-2 Contract to Hire with benefits
DURATION:
6-8 months with intention to convert, possibility to convert sooner
WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING?
This role will design, implement, and maintain secure/scalable Azure infrastructure while leading on-prem to Azure migration work, improving/optimizing the current environment, and mentoring the team to reduce vendor reliance and support long-term modernization.
WHO WE’RE LOOKING FOR?
- 5-10+ years of relevant hands-on experience that includes:

• Designing and managing Azure infrastructure
• Cloud migration experience (from on-prem to Azure)
• Infrastructure as Code (IaC) experience (Bicep, Terraform, and/or ARM templates)
• Strong Azure networking knowledge (routing, VPNs, ExpressRoute, load balancing, DNS, firewalls)
• Ability to provide technical leadership/mentorship as needed as well as audit existing decisions made by a vendor
• Strong interpersonal skills with clear and effective verbal and written communication skills
• Authorization to work in the US is a precondition of employment - we do not sponsor work visas
