Role summary

PROJECTXYZ is seeking a Supply Discrepancy Data Analyst to join their team in New Cumberland, PA. This role is responsible for processing and resolving Supply Discrepancy Reports (SDRs), ensuring accurate and timely adjudication. The analyst will input SDR data into centralized databases and track SDRs to closure. The position requires a Bachelor's Degree and a minimum of two years of experience in technical data analysis and report preparation. An active Secret or higher government security clearance is mandatory. This is an onsite, full-time position supporting government operations.

Purpose Of Position
The Supply Discrepancy Team (SDR) team executes and processes all SDRs through closure, managing 900-1000 SDR’s in an open pipeline daily. This position supports the resolution of Supply Discrepancy Reports (SDRs) to ensure accurate and timely adjudication. The analyst will gain experience by inputting SDRs and utilizing relevant databases.
Duties and Responsibilities (Essential):
SDR Processing:

  • Assist with receiving and reviewing incoming SDRs to ensure they meet established format and content guidelines.
  • Input SDR data into centralized databases, ensuring accuracy and completeness.
  • Track SDRs to ensure timely responses from supply sources.
  • Supports the execution and processing of all SDRs through closure.
  • Supports the resolution of SDRs to ensure accurate and timely adjudication.
  • Enter information into relevant databases.
  • Assist with receiving and reviewing incoming SDRs to ensure they meet established format and content guidelines.
  • Input SDR data into centralized databases, ensuring accuracy and completeness.

Continuous Learning:

  • Develop an understanding of relevant regulations and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) related to SDRs.
  • Participate in training opportunities to enhance knowledge and skills in supply discrepancy resolution.
  • This description highlights the core responsibilities of a Level I Analyst. As the analyst gains experience, they will take on more complex tasks and responsibilities.
  • Typical duties include but are not limited to ergonomic/human performance analysis, feasibility analysis, logistics planning, requirements determination, policy standards/procedures development, longterm reliability and maintainability, training and outsourcing.
  • Provides highly technical expertise in specific functional and or technical areas directly related to the task performance.

Qualifications:

  • Active Secret or higher government security clearance.
  • Minimum/General Experience: Two years’ experience assisting senior staff with technical data analysis and the development and preparation of documents and reports relating to systems.
  • Minimum Education: Bachelor's Degree in such disciplines as electrical or Electronic Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Aerospace or Aeronautical Engineering, Civil Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Computer Science, Information Resource Management/Information Systems, Operations Research, Physical Sciences, Statistics, Mathematics, Chemistry, Business, Accounting, Economics, or other related scientific, technical, or logistic discipline, or a technical training certificate from an accredited training institution with a curriculum or major field of study which provides substantial knowledge closely related to the task.

Physical Factors

  • Work environment is predominately office.
  • Must be able to sit for extended periods of time.
  • Must be able to operate a computer for extended periods of time.
  • Must be able to operate a phone both making and receiving calls and taking or conveying information.
  • Must communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing
  • Occasionally lifts/moves up to 25 pounds.
