
Implementation Engineering Manager
Role summary
ProSource Industries, a leader in manufacturing precision components for Wire Harnesses, Cable Assemblies, and Electrical Control Panels, seeks a detail-oriented Implementation Engineering Manager. This role is responsible for overseeing the transition from New Product Development (NPI) to full-scale production, ensuring all processes, documentation, and equipment are validated. Key duties include managing line setup, operator training, process validation, troubleshooting production issues, coordinating change control, tracking ramp-up progress, and driving automation. The ideal candidate has a Bachelor's degree in a related field, 4+ years of manufacturing quality management experience, and proficiency in quality standards and tools, Lean manufacturing, and OEE systems.

We are looking for a meticulous and detail-oriented Implementation Engineering Manager to join our team. Leads the transition from pre-production to full-scale manufacturing. Owns the implementation phase, ensuring all processes, documentation, and equipment are validated and ready for sustained production. This role supports the New Product Development (NPI) teamand reports directly to the Vice President of New Product Introduction (NPI)
Key Responsibilities:
- Plan and execute process handover from NPI to production.
- Oversee line setup, tooling, workstation layout, and operator training.
- Validate process flow, time studies, and cycle times for production efficiency.
- Lead troubleshooting of early-run issues and implement permanent solutions.
- Coordinate change control ECN on the production floor and ensure accurate floor documentation.
- Track ramp-up progress and ensure readiness metrics (FPY, OEE, throughput) meet targets.
- Drive implementation of automation, visual aids, and digital work instructions.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in quality management, Engineering, or related field (preferred).
- 4+ years of experience in quality management, preferably in a manufacturing environment.
- Strong knowledge of quality standards such as ISO 9001, IPC/WHMA-A-620, and other applicable frameworks.
- Experience with quality tools such as 5 Whys, 8D, FMEA, SPC, and Root Cause Analysis.
- Proficient in quality management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Excellent communication, organizational, and leadership skills
- Proficiency in Lean manufacturing, Kaizen, and OEE systems.
