Position Summary

We are looking for a highly experienced
Staff Security Engineer
with deep expertise in
AI/ML Security and Cloud-Native environments
. This role will lead the design, implementation, and scaling of security solutions that protect modern AI-driven platforms and distributed systems.

You will play a key role in shaping security strategy, partnering cross-functionally, and embedding security across the entire
AI/ML lifecycle
—from model development to deployment and monitoring.

Key Responsibilities

- Lead the development and execution of
enterprise security strategies and solutions
.
- Design and implement
advanced security controls
across cloud, applications, and distributed systems.
- Drive
AI/ML security initiatives
, ensuring secure model development, training, and deployment.
- Collaborate with
engineering, data science, and DevOps teams
to integrate security into workflows.
- Conduct
threat modeling, risk assessments, and vulnerability analysis
for AI systems.
- Develop monitoring solutions to detect
anomalous behavior and misuse of AI systems
.
- Secure APIs and endpoints used for
model access and inference
.
- Mentor engineers and set standards for
secure engineering practices
.
- Contribute to
security architecture decisions
and long-term roadmap.

Required Qualifications

- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, IT, or related field (or equivalent experience).
- 8+ years of experience in
security engineering or software engineering
in cloud-native environments.
- Strong experience with
cloud platforms
such as AWS, Azure, or GCP.
- Experience building and securing
distributed systems at scale

- Proficiency in one or more programming languages (Java, Python, Go, C#, C++, Scala).
- Strong understanding of
CI/CD pipelines and DevSecOps practices
.

Preferred Qualifications

- Experience with
AI/ML security
and securing model pipelines.
- Familiarity with modern AI platforms such as
LLMs and model-serving frameworks
.
- Experience in
health-tech environments
(EHR systems, clinical data, etc.).
- Proven experience as a
technical leader or decision-maker
in engineering teams.

Domain Expertise (AI/ML Security)

- Lead security initiatives for AI-driven SaaS platforms leveraging modern models and frameworks.
- Design protections against threats such as:
- Model inversion
- Data poisoning
- Adversarial attacks
- Prompt injection
- Implement security controls across:
- Model training pipelines
- Data pipelines
- Inference systems
- Establish monitoring and governance for
responsible AI usage and security compliance
.
