Role summary
Publix is seeking a Senior Automation QA Engineer for its Retail Fresh Delivery team. This role involves planning and executing testing for enterprise-level applications, translating requirements into test scenarios, and developing/executing automated and manual test cases for various testing types including regression, load, and performance. The engineer will also coordinate with development teams, analyze results, report defects, and provide testing leadership. Join the Retail Fresh Delivery team as a Senior Quality Assurance Engineer where you will be responsible for planning testing efforts and executing on small to large enterprise level applications by translating functional requirements, project documentation, release notes into test requirements and scenarios. Additional responsibilities include developing and executing automated and manual test cases for regression, load, and performance testing, and coordinating with development teams for creating comprehensive test plans and execution.

- Derive test strategies and test plans to effectively test the solution
- Provide testing leadership to the project teams to execute the test plan
- Developing and executing automated and manual test cases
- Analyzing results and reporting defects
- Integration, system, user acceptance, regression, load, and performance testing
- Coordinating with development teams to plan testing efforts and oversee testing execution on small to large enterprise level applications by translating functional requirements, project documentation, User story acceptance criteria and release notes into test requirements and scenarios
