Sr Software Engineer – SAP Finance Analyst
Role summary
We are seeking a Sr. Software Engineer specializing in SAP Finance to join our team. This role involves designing, developing, and deploying new SAP Finance solutions across various modules like Accounts Payables/Receivables, Asset Accounting, and General Ledger. You will be responsible for gathering business requirements, translating them into system designs, performing configurations, conducting testing (unit, integration, UAT), and providing production support. The ideal candidate will have five years of experience in SAP Finance module configuration and solution design, along with five years of general software engineering experience. This is a hybrid role requiring at least eight days per month in the office.
#### Description
Design, develop, and deploy new SAP Finance solutions, including Accounts Payables/Receivables, Asset Accounting, General Ledger, Payments Processing, Project Systems, Real Estate, Tax and FI integration with Logistics modules. Gather business requirements and translate into system design and reporting capabilities. Design system solutions, write functional specification document for various RICEFW objects, perform functional configurations, perform unit testing, coordinate integration testing, support user acceptance testing, and resolve issues reported during hyper-care. Configure SAP to implement solutions in the Finance area. Collaborate with Development and Infrastructure teams to create, maintain and test application functionality to ensure implementations are successful. Test application functionality as well as custom SAP programs. Assist with resolution of SAP incidents and problems. Validate the deployment of SAP system changes into a production environment. Provide production support to the business areas for SAP Finance applications. Assist with support of integration within SAP and interfaces between SAP and other systems.
#### Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Finance, or similar analytical discipline. Will accept an educational equivalency evaluation prepared by a qualified evaluation service or in accordance with 8 CFR 214.2(h)(4)(iii)(D).
- Five years’ software engineering experience.
- Five years’ experience with SAP solutions designing and configuring core Finance modules: Accounting, Finance, and Control.
- Hybrid must work in office at least eight days per month.

Potential Annual Base Pay with Bonus

#### Year End Bonus
As a year-end bonus to associates, Publix issues one month’s extra pay (pro-rated in the first year) each year if associate remains employed through issue date of the bonus check that year. This is calculated as a 13th month of pay in the Potential Annual Pay with Bonus line above.
