Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role based in San Diego, CA, for a Senior Software Engineer. The Senior Software Engineer will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining software solutions with a focus on back-end development and programming. They will work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure the delivery of efficient, secure, and scalable software-based solutions supporting Qualcomm's advanced technologies. Additional responsibilities include troubleshooting, optimizing code, and implementing object-oriented programming best practices to meet the company's innovation goals.
Qualifications
- Strong foundation in Computer Science and its principles
- Hands-on experience in Back-End Web Development and Software Development
- Proficiency in Programming and Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) concepts
- Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively in cross-functional teams
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
- Experience with open source software development is a plus
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field
