We are looking for an OFFICE MANAGER to join our Davenport, IA team. As an Office Manager with Quikrete Heavy Construction Materials, you will act as the central administrative hub for both the Plant Management System and Human Resources departments in a manufacturing environment.

About the Role

  • Document Control: Manage the lifecycle of critical reporting documents. This includes drafting reports, processing revision requests, maintaining master files, and ensuring all systems comply with audit standards.
  • Human Resources Support: Administer employee records, including attendance, hiring/termination data, and disciplinary actions. You will also assist with job postings and ensure compliance with state and federal reporting.
  • Executive & Site Administration: Provide confidential support to the Plant Manager, including calendar management and meeting preparation. Coordinate logistics for site visits, plant tours, and guest hospitality.
  • Data & Systems Management: Maintain accuracy across different reporting systems at the plant in compliance with QK needs. You must be highly proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word) and familiar with Kronos
  • Support & Participation in plant activities: Attend internal and 3rd party audits to provide necessary documentation and support continuous improvement.
  • Office Operations: Handle general duties such as screening visitors, answering calls, ordering supplies/meals, and managing basic accounting functions.

About You

Requirements

  • At least 2 years of office management or administrative experience.
  • Software Expertise: Advanced Microsoft Office skills; familiarity with ERP/HRIS systems.
  • Meticulous Organization: Strict adherence to naming conventions and filing structures.
  • Discretion: Ability to handle highly confidential personnel and plant information.
