Role summary

Seeking a highly experienced Senior QA Engineer to lead end-to-end quality engineering for backend services, APIs, web, and mobile applications. The role involves building and scaling automation frameworks, driving automation strategy, integrating testing into CI/CD pipelines, and performing various types of testing including functional, regression, integration, performance, and security. The ideal candidate will champion modern QA practices like TDD/BDD, possess expertise in automation tools (Selenium, Cypress, Playwright, WebdriverIO), API testing (Postman, REST), backend testing (Node.js preferred), CI/CD integration (Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI), and cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP). Experience in Agile/Scrum environments is required, with performance testing, Docker, Kubernetes, and security testing being preferred.

Hiring: Senior QA Engineer (Automation | Full-Stack | Cloud) – NYC (Hybrid)

We are seeking a highly experienced Senior QA Engineer to drive end-to-end quality engineering across backend services, APIs, web, and mobile applications.

🔹 Key Responsibilities:

• Build and scale automation frameworks for UI, API, and backend systems

• Drive automation strategy and integrate testing into CI/CD pipelines

• Perform functional, regression, integration, performance, and security testing

• Champion TDD/BDD and modern QA engineering practices

• Act as SME for Quality Engineering and mentor teams

🔹 Must Have:

• 6+ years in QA with strong automation experience

• Expertise in Selenium / Cypress / Playwright / WebdriverIO

• Strong API testing experience (Postman, REST)

• Backend testing experience (Node.js preferred)

• CI/CD integration (Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI)

• Cloud experience (AWS / Azure / GCP)

• Agile/Scrum environment experience

🔹 Nice to Have:

• Performance testing (JMeter, k6)

• Docker / Kubernetes

• Security testing (OWASP Top 10)
