
Site Reliability Engineer
Role summary
RaceTrac is seeking a results-driven Site Reliability Engineer (SRE) to support their cloud compute activities. This role combines software, systems, and infrastructure engineering to build and operate large-scale, distributed, and fault-tolerant systems. The SRE will ensure the reliability, uptime, and performance of RaceTrac's critical internal and external services, while also monitoring system capacity and performance. The primary goal is to build resilient, highly scalable infrastructure and automate manual processes.
The Site Reliability Engineer (SRE) is a results-driven engineer with solid technology acumen supporting the RaceTrac teams cloud compute activities. The SRE combines software, systems and infrastructure engineering to build and run large-scale, massively distributed, fault-tolerant systems. The SRE ensures that RT services, both our internally critical and our externally visible systems have reliability, uptime and performance commensurate with application requirements. Additionally, SRE’s will keep a watchful eye on our systems capacity and performance.
