About the Role:
We are looking for a talented
Designer
to join our
UX Design Lab
in North America, reporting to the Head of UX Design Lab. This is a
hybrid 9-month contract role
focused on
packaging design
that elevates consumer experiences through innovation, sustainability, and creativity.
In this role, you’ll collaborate closely with marketing teams, engineers, product developers, lab experts, and external partners to shape the future of packaging. Your designs will not only be visually compelling but also technically feasible, sustainable, and aligned with consumer needs.
What You’ll Do:
Consumer-Centric Design:
Analyze consumer behaviors to create packaging solutions that enhance experiences and meet expectations.
Creative Excellence:
Use your design skills and understanding of brand DNA to craft aesthetically pleasing, desirable packaging.
Trend Forecasting:
Stay ahead of cosmetic and competitive trends to identify opportunities for innovation.
Sustainable Solutions:
Explore eco-responsible materials and manufacturing processes.
Technical Feasibility:
Collaborate with engineers and product developers to ensure designs are manufacturable and cost-effective.
Design Thinking Leadership:
Lead and participate in Design Thinking workshops, Design Sprints, and co-creation sessions with consumers.
Prototyping & Supplier Collaboration:
Rapidly prototype and test packaging solutions while building relationships with suppliers to explore new materials and technologies.
Key Responsibilities:
Drive
Research & Innovation projects
with Advanced Engineering and R&I Development Labs.
Lead
Packaging projects
across Packaging Labs, Technical Design Centers, and Packaging Science Centers.
Support
Brand projects
to incorporate elevated innovation and sustainability through design.
Build strong connections with operational teams, R&I teams, and brands.
Lead local UX Design projects as part of the global portfolio.
Collaborate with external resources and design agencies.
Qualifications & Skills:
Experience in
packaging design

Strong creativity and understanding of
