Cost Accountant
Role summary
Re:Build Manufacturing is seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Cost Accountant for a hybrid contract manufacturing and consultative design environment. Reporting to the Site Controller, this role is crucial for supporting manufacturing operations and business development. The Cost Accountant will analyze product costs, evaluate sales data, and develop pricing models, partnering with cross-functional teams. Key responsibilities include maintaining standard costs, identifying cost drivers, supporting pricing strategies, analyzing variances, assisting with financial close, budgeting, forecasting, and ensuring inventory valuation accuracy. The ideal candidate has a Bachelor's degree in Accounting/Finance, 3+ years of cost accounting experience (preferably in manufacturing), proficiency in ERP systems and Excel, and strong analytical and communication skills.
