Job Summary

We are looking for a skilled Data Engineer to design, build, and maintain scalable data pipelines and data warehouse solutions. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in cloud-based data platforms, automation, data governance, and performance optimization.

Key Responsibilities

Design, develop, and maintain real-time and batch data pipelines

Build and optimize ETL/ELT processes for data integration from multiple sources

Design and maintain data warehouse structures ensuring data quality and consistency

Implement data governance, security, and compliance standards

Apply data protection measures such as masking, tokenization, and RBAC

Monitor, troubleshoot, and optimize performance of large-scale data systems

Develop automated testing and CI/CD pipelines for data workflows

Manage code deployments across environments including production and disaster recovery

Collaborate with data scientists, analysts, and cross-functional teams

Required Skills & Experience

Experience building automated, cloud-based data pipelines

Strong knowledge of Snowflake, DBT Cloud, Qlik Replicate

Hands-on experience with AWS services (S3, Lambda, Glue, RDS, SQS, SNS)

Proficiency in Python, PySpark, and advanced SQL

Experience with Airflow (Astronomer) and orchestration tools

Knowledge of data governance, security, and compliance best practices

Experience handling structured and semi-structured data (CSV, JSON, XML, etc.)

Experience implementing logging, monitoring, and performance tuning

Familiarity with CI/CD tools (GitLab/GitHub)

Certification in relevant data or cloud technologies
