Role summary

We are seeking a Senior AI Engineer with 10-12+ years of experience for a full-time, onsite role in Lake Mary, Florida. The ideal candidate will have advanced Python skills, experience with FastAPI for API development, and the ability to write production-grade, scalable code. Core responsibilities include debugging complex distributed systems, and deep expertise in LLM fundamentals such as prompt engineering, tokenization, model selection, and handling hallucinations. Proficiency in Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) is crucial, including document ingestion, chunking strategies, embeddings, vector databases (pgvector), hybrid search, and re-ranking. Experience with agentic frameworks, orchestration, LLM evaluation metrics, and MLOps practices like Docker and CI/CD pipelines is also required.
