### Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Data Engineer to join our team in Toronto, ON for an onsite full-time role. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, building, and maintaining scalable data pipelines and data infrastructure to support analytics and business intelligence initiatives.

### Key Responsibilities

Design, build, and maintain scalable data pipelines and ETL processes.

Develop and manage data integration workflows from multiple sources.

Collaborate with data scientists, analysts, and business teams to support data needs.

Ensure data quality, reliability, and performance across data systems.

Optimize databases and data pipelines for efficiency and scalability.

Monitor and troubleshoot data workflows and infrastructure.

Maintain documentation for data architecture and processes.

### Required Skills & Qualifications

Strong experience in data engineering and ETL development.

Proficiency in SQL and programming languages such as Python or Scala.

Experience with big data technologies such as Spark, Hadoop, or Kafka.

Knowledge of data warehousing and data modeling concepts.

Familiarity with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP.

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

### Preferred Qualifications

Experience with data pipeline tools such as Airflow, Informatica, or Talend.

Knowledge of containerization tools like Docker.

Experience working in Agile development environments.
