Role summary

We are seeking a Salesforce Product Owner to lead the customer integration stream within a Lead to Cash architecture, bridging Salesforce and SAP. This role requires 5+ years of experience in Lead to Cash environments, with deep expertise in Salesforce Sales Cloud (Opportunity, Quote, CPQ) and SAP ERP. You will be responsible for owning and prioritizing the product backlog, translating business needs into user stories, and leading Agile ceremonies. The ideal candidate will excel at stakeholder management, facilitating cross-functional collaboration, and driving User Acceptance Testing (UAT) to ensure delivered solutions meet commercial and integration objectives. Experience with large-scale commercial transformations, data migrations, and a strong understanding of system integration impacts are crucial for success.

Key Responsibilities

Backlog & Requirements Leadership

  • Own, refine, and prioritize the product backlog for the customer integration stream, ensuring alignment with the broader Lead to Cash architecture across Salesforce and SAP.
  • Translate complex and ambiguous business needs into clear, actionable user stories and functional specifications.
  • Define acceptance criteria and "Definition of Done" for all backlog items.
  • Lead sprint planning, grooming, and prioritization activities to maintain high velocity delivery.

Stakeholder Management & Cross Functional Collaboration

  • Serve as the primary liaison between Commercial Operations, IT/IDS, technical teams, and customer's business stakeholders.
  • Engage stakeholders effectively across all organizational levels (Managers, Directors, Senior Directors) to drive alignment and decision-making.
  • Facilitate workshops, requirement-gathering sessions, and cross-functional meetings to ensure clarity and shared understanding.
  • Manage expectations and communications across technical and business teams.

Solution Validation & Execution

  • Lead User Acceptance Testing (UAT) with business stakeholders, ensuring the delivered solution meets intended commercial and integration objectives.
  • Provide ongoing clarity to development teams and remove execution roadblocks.
  • Ensure consistent alignment with integration goals, data migration needs, and transformation milestones.

Required Experience & Skills

Platform & Domain Expertise

  • 5+ years of experience with Salesforce (CRM) and SAP (ERP), specifically within a Lead to Cash environment.
  • Strong understanding of Salesforce Sales Cloud and related objects, including Opportunity, Quote, and CPQ processes.

Integration & Transformation

  • Proven experience supporting large-scale commercial transformations, acquisition integrations, or major data migrations.
  • Ability to understand upstream/downstream impacts across systems and business functions.

Agile Product Ownership

  • Expert-level ability to write high quality user stories, acceptance criteria, and epics.
  • Strong understanding of Agile methodologies, backlog management, sprint planning, and user story grooming (Jira/ADO preferred).

Stakeholder Engagement

  • Demonstrated ability to influence and communicate effectively with senior and junior leadership.
  • Skilled in facilitating discussions, aligning cross-functional teams, and driving consensus.

Business Analysis

  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to lead discovery workshops and convert complex business needs into technical requirements.
  • Ability to collaborate with engineering, architecture, and business teams to ensure feasibility and alignment.
