Join the Team Defining the Future of Sponsorship Measurement

At Trajektory, we're not just building software. We're fixing a billion-dollar blind spot. Sponsorship is one of the largest marketing channels in the world, yet most brands still can't quantify what they're getting for their investment.

We're changing that.

Our platform gives brands, teams, and agencies clear, accountable, and actionable data about the value of their sponsorship exposure across TV, social, email, and digital.. Today, 50% of teams in the NFL, NBA, MLB, and MLS use Trajektory, and we're just getting started.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design and implement schemas that support sophisticated, multi-entity hierarchies and non-traditional data relationships.
  • Automate ingestion of diverse data sources via API, automated data transfers, and other scalable solutions.
  • Lead the development of Python-based ELT pipelines and platform features within GCP , transforming raw data into performant, scalable functionality.
  • Design and automate data validation, integrity checks, and monitoring dashboards to ensure a high-fidelity "source of truth" across the platform.
  • Partner with product owners and business stakeholders to define data collection strategies, testing, and documentation.
  • Develop and maintain technical documentation, including data flow diagrams, ETL workflows, and system architecture.
  • Support production deployments and release processes for data infrastructure.
  • Drive continuous improvement of the data platform and contribute to the long-term vision of our data engineering infrastructure.

Experience

  • Extensive data engineering experience with a proven track record of building and maintaining production-grade data pipelines and back-end services in a SaaS environment.
  • Ability to translate high-level product roadmaps into scalable technical requirements and back-end infrastructure.
  • Demonstrated ability to design and refactor schemas for complex, multi-entity hierarchies and non-traditional data structures.
  • Extensive Python & SQL experience developing complex data processing logic, building APIs, and optimizing high-performance queries.
  • Strong proficiency with GCP (or similar) and designing scalable pipelines using cloud-native solutions for compute, storage, and ETL/ELT orchestration.
  • Experience with Test-Driven Development (TDD) and CI/CD practices to ensure reliable deployments of compute services and data pipelines.
  • Commitment to maintaining high-fidelity system documentation and enforcing data integrity through automated testing and validation.
