Role summary

Reflexive Concepts is seeking a skilled Test Engineer III with 8 years of experience to join their team. The role involves creating and executing test plans, developing test scripts, and generating test reports. Key responsibilities include supporting government test and evaluation activities, assessing system performance, developing evaluation plans, designing data sampling schemes, and specifying M&S tools. The engineer will produce T&E documentation, participate in integrated test teams, provide technical direction, and communicate risks to leadership. Familiarity with automated testing tools like Selenium, command line operations, and backend testing methodologies is preferred.

Reflexive Concepts is seeking a skilled Test Engineer to join our team!
Specifically, we are looking for a candidate with hands-on experience creating and executing test plans, developing test scripts, and generating test reports, as well as familiarity with automated testing tools and frameworks such as Selenium, command line operations, and backend testing methodologies.
Qualifications

  • Eight (8) years’ experience as a TE in programs and contracts of similar scope, type and complexity
  • Bachelor’s degree in Math, Science, Engineering, Statistics, Engineering Management or related discipline from an accredited college or university
  • Four (4) years of additional TE experience may be substituted for a bachelor’s degree

Job Requirements:

  • Familiarity with automated testing tools and frameworks, such as Selenium
  • Support Government test and evaluation (T&E) activities, applying knowledge of acquisition, engineering, and operations concepts to plan and execute performance analysis and data collection
  • Assess system and operational performance requirements to frame T&E objectives, evaluate testability, and align testing schedules with program decision-maker needs
  • Develop and execute evaluation plans including metric frameworks, scenario selection, requirements cross-walks, risk assessments, and statistical analysis of performance data
  • Design data sampling schemes, select and calibrate instrumentation, and manage data collection tools and facilities to optimize testing efficiency and control uncertainties
  • Specify, validate, and adapt Modeling and Simulation (M&S) tools for T&E use, and design surveys to capture Subject Matter Expert (SME) and user performance assessments
  • Produce T&E documentation including Test Plans, Evaluation Reports, Analysis Plans, Data Management Plans, and input to Government products such as the Test & Evaluation Master Plan (TEMP) and Test Readiness Reports
  • Participate in T&E Working-level Integrated Product Teams (WIPTs) and Integrated Test Teams to coordinate evaluation and data collection plans across program stakeholders
  • Provide technical direction and quality assurance for test processes and products, ensuring team independence from solution providers to support objective program oversight
  • Communicate risks, issues, and recommended courses of action to government and contract leadership, driving innovation and adaptability in response to program changes
