Role summary

A Senior Backend Engineer is sought for a 14-week remote contract role to build a next-generation Identity & Access Management (IAM) platform powered by AI workflows. This greenfield project involves designing and delivering core backend systems for secure, scalable identity automation within a high-security financial environment. Key technologies include microservices architecture, gRPC, PostgreSQL, Redis, and AI workflows. Experience with IAM systems like Okta or Auth0, and proficiency in Go, are highly desirable. The role requires strong backend engineering experience and a background in building distributed systems from scratch.

We’re hiring a
Senior Backend Engineer
to build the foundation of a next-gen
Identity & Access Management platform powered by AI workflows

This is a
greenfield build
— not maintenance. You’ll design and deliver core backend systems that enable secure, scalable identity automation in a
high-security financial environment
.

🔧 What you’ll work with:

• Microservices architecture + gRPC

• PostgreSQL & Redis

• IAM systems (authN/authZ)

• AI workflows / agent-driven systems

💡 Ideal background:

• Strong backend engineering experience (senior level)

• Experience building distributed systems from scratch

• IAM or identity provider exposure (Okta, Auth0 etc.) is a big plus

• Go experience

📍 Remote (Central or Eastern timezones)

📅 Start: April 13
