PBF Printer Technician II
Role summary
The Powder Bed Fusion (PBF) Printer Technician II operates and maintains advanced additive manufacturing equipment on the second shift (3:00 PM - 1:30 AM PT). This role involves setting up, operating, and monitoring PBF printers and depowdering machinery, performing routine maintenance and calibration, and inspecting parts for quality. The technician will also maintain detailed documentation, collaborate with engineering on new printing processes, and adhere to safety protocols. A High School Diploma/GED and 2+ years of experience in PBF printer operation or other additive manufacturing technologies are required, with proficiency in operating specific PBF printers and understanding various printing processes. Experience in part inspection, technical documentation, and troubleshooting are essential. Preferred qualifications include 3+ years as a PBF Technician, an Associate's degree in Advanced Manufacturing Technology, and experience with CAD software or programming PBF printers.

About the Team:
The Powder Bed Fusion manufacturing team develops, creates, and operates the most advanced additive manufacturing technologies in the world. This best-in-class team makes sure that the infrastructure, materials, tools, and equipment are in place for us to rapidly iterate and print. The Powder-Based manufacturing team was crucial to manufacturing Aeon-1 for first launch and now are developing and demonstrating groundbreaking technologies, design, and approaches for Aeon-R!
About the Role:
This is a 2nd shift position with a standard schedule of 3:00 PM – 1:30 AM PT, Monday through Friday. The role includes a 10% shift differential added to the base pay. Please note that this position is structured around a baseline expectation of a 50-hour workweek, which may include occasional overtime as needed to meet operational goals.
