Test Fluids Engineer II
Role summary
The Factory Test team is seeking a Test Systems Engineer to design, build, and operate test infrastructure for aerospace components. This role involves owning and managing automated fluid systems, including their mechanical, fluid, and electrical components. Responsibilities include designing systems to engineering requirements, commissioning new assets, performing fault tolerance analysis, and executing test campaigns. The position requires a Bachelor's degree in a relevant engineering field and knowledge of fluid and thermodynamic principles. Experience with cryogenics, structural design, and relevant ASME codes are considered a plus. The role is based in Long Beach, CA.

About the Team:
The Factory Test team designs, builds, and operates the infrastructure needed to test nearly every part of Terran R right here at our headquarters in Long Beach, CA. This centralized approach provides engineers and technicians with exposure to the entire product lifecycle across a wide range of part sizes and complexities. The scope and scale are significant, with test stands capable of handling millions of pounds of force. Team members lead multiple projects in parallel, avoiding silos and gaining broad technical experience without needing a background in aerospace. With high-impact campaigns ahead, now is the time to join.
