Position Summary: ONE | GT Hotel is seeking a creative, strategic, and results-driven Marketing Manager to lead marketing and social media initiatives that increase hotel awareness, strengthen the property’s local and global presence, and drive demand across the hotel’s three Food & Beverage outlets.
This position will develop and execute integrated marketing strategies that elevate the hotel’s independent brand, attract new guests and local customers, increase awareness of the property’s dining experiences, and strengthen the hotel’s position within the local Grand Cayman market. A significant focus will be placed on developing compelling social media content and local marketing campaigns that drive engagement, visitation, and revenue for the hotel’s Food & Beverage venues.
What Will Define Success in This Role? The ideal candidate combines strong strategic thinking with hands-on execution, and understands how to translate a hotel brand into compelling stories, experiences, and content that resonate with both travelers and the local community.
This role partners closely with Remington’s Corporate Social Media Team, while independently owning day-to-day social media management for the property as well as its three on-site restaurants.
Core Responsibilities
Restaurant Social Media Management
- Fully own and manage day-to-day social media presence (content creation, scheduling, posting, community management, and engagement) for all three on-site restaurants across Instagram, Facebook, and emerging platforms.
- Develop monthly content calendars for each outlet and the hotel’s main social media pages that reflect menu offerings, chef features, events, promotions, seasonal programming, and overarching on-brand content
- Capture and produce high-quality photo and video content on-site, including reels and short-form video, to authentically showcase multiple dining experiences.
- Monitor engagement, respond to guest comments and messages, and manage online reputation for each restaurant and hotel social pages in real time.
Operational Management
- Oversee daily operations of all F&B departments: restaurants, bars, banquets, room service, catering, etc.
- Ensure consistent high standards of food, beverage, and service.
- Ensure appropriate inventory of supplies and materials needed for associates to perform their jobs.
- Efficiently supervise, guide and train all management level associates in the food and beverage discipline, ensuring management is covering all hours of every shift to ensure constant supervision of each department.
- Schedule, evaluate and direct all food and beverage personnel, including providing disciplinary action if necessary.
Financial Oversight
- Manage departmental budgets, forecasts, and cost controls.
- Monitor P&L performance and implement corrective actions when needed.
- Drive financials through creation of menus, specials and promotions, as well as maintenance or decrease in food cost and awareness and adherence to staffing levels throughout the food and beverage areas of the hotel.
Team Leadership & Development
- Recruit, train, and lead a high-performing F&B team.
- Foster a culture of continuous improvement, service excellence, and employee engagement.
- Coach and counsel associates, including managers
- Work in a cooperative and friendly manner with fellow associates.
- Practice a culture of guest service in all you do; promote courtesy, good will and a positive attitude in each and every encounter.
Guest Experience & Service Quality
- Maintain superior guest service standards and respond to guest feedback.
- Ensure compliance with property standards and service protocols.
- Anticipate guest needs, respond promptly and acknowledge all guests, maintaining positive guest relations at all times. Resolve guest complaints, ensuring guest satisfaction in each interaction. Coordinate special programs, functions and incentives to improve guest service.
Menu & Concept Development
- Collaborate with chefs and mixologists on menu innovation, pricing, and presentation.
- Stay ahead of trends and implement fresh concepts to attract and retain guests.
Knowledge, Skills, and Competencies:
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Hospitality, or a related field preferred.
- 3–5 years of marketing experience, ideally within hospitality, restaurants, or lifestyle brands.
- Demonstrated hands-on experience managing social media accounts and producing original content (photo/video) for a brand, restaurant, or hospitality property.
- Experience collaborating with external marketing or social media agencies.
- Strong understanding of Food & Beverage marketing and how to drive restaurant covers and local engagement.
- Familiarity with hotel commercial strategy (revenue, sales, group business) is a strong plus.
- Excellent writing, storytelling, and visual content skills; working knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite, Canva, or similar tools.
- Strong project management skills with the ability to manage multiple outlets and priorities simultaneously.
- Self-motivated, entrepreneurial, and comfortable working both independently and cross-functionally in a fast-paced environment.
- Familiarity with the Grand Cayman market and community a plus.
- Proficiency in industry-standard creative software, Specifically Adobe Creative Suite including Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, Lightroom, or equivalent platforms a plus.
