  • About the Opportunity:

The Senior Data Scientist, Finance Analytics is responsible for managing the monthly revenue forecasting process and contributing to quarterly and annual financial planning. This role provides critical analysis and reporting to monitor revenue performance, support scaling initiatives, and improve organizational efficiencies. The position collaborates across teams to ensure accurate data tracking and develops analytics that drive operational improvements, particularly within finance and risk management functions. This role plays a key part in guiding business decisions through data-driven insights.

  • Responsibilities:

• Own the monthly revenue forecasting process and assist in quarterly and annual financial planning

• Build reports and dashboards to monitor revenue performance and provide business recommendations

• Conduct exploratory data analysis to develop metrics and KPIs assessing platform activity

• Support business operations, finance, and revenue teams with analytics and reporting to improve performance and efficiency

• Collaborate with data engineering and product teams to ensure proper data tracking and support ETL process development

• Work with stakeholders to identify and prioritize high-impact business opportunities

• Partner with Risk & Insurance teams to develop analytics aimed at improving operational efficiency

  • Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Data Science, Analytics, Business, Management, or a related field

• Minimum 2 years of experience in a data scientist role

• Experience in analytics and finance strategy, including forecasting and performance measurement

• Proficiency in SQL and Python for data querying, modeling, and automation

• Advanced statistical analysis skills using R or Julia

• Experience with data pipeline development and modeling using dbt, AWS, or other cloud platforms

• Knowledge of machine learning applications in finance such as forecasting and variance analysis

• Skills in data visualization and stakeholder communication using Tableau, Mode, Snowsight, and Google Sheets

  • Pay Range and Compensation Package:

• Salary range: $120,000 - $129,000 per year
