  • About the Opportunity:

The Senior Product Manager, Merchant Risk is responsible for shaping the vision and strategy for merchant risk products. This role leads the product roadmap and prioritization efforts within the Merchant Risk domain, ensuring alignment across engineering, analytics, and platform teams. The position drives the delivery of product requirements and collaborates with stakeholders to launch features that optimize risk management and operational efficiency. This role plays a key part in guiding cross-functional teams and influencing leadership decisions to manage risks and trade-offs effectively.

  • Responsibilities:

• Develop vision and strategy for merchant risk products to maximize customer value and operational scalability

• Drive product roadmap and prioritize initiatives within the Merchant Risk domain

• Lead cross-functional teams including engineering, analytics, and platform partners with a platform mindset

• Define product requirements and collaborate with engineering on sprint planning and user story prioritization

• Plan and launch products/features in coordination with stakeholders

• Build relationships with product, engineering, and platform teams to align cross-team strategies and manage risks

• Communicate clearly with leadership and drive alignment across multiple teams through formal and informal processes

  • Requirements:

• 5+ years of product management experience

• Ability to work across global teams in multiple locations and time zones to drive consensus

• Strong written and verbal communication skills to articulate customer problems and align teams and leadership

• Comfortable working in an ambiguous, matrixed organization

• Ability to convert incomplete or conflicting inputs into actionable plans

• Skilled at identifying and prioritizing high-impact initiatives

• Experience in developing data-driven strategies to streamline operations without compromising product quality

• Familiarity with highly regulated industries preferred

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science or related field, or equivalent experience

  • Pay Range and Compensation Package:

• USA base pay range (CA, WA, NY, NJ, CT) per year: $190,000 - $240,000

• USA base pay range (all other U.S. states) per year: $169,000 - $219,000

• Base pay is part of a total compensation package, which may include equity rewards, monthly stipends for health, wellness and technology expenses, and benefits including fully subsidized medical, dental, and vision coverage for employees and dependents
