The team focuses on embedding security throughout software delivery lifecycle processes, supporting rapid development while ensuring compliance and security standards are upheld.
- About the Opportunity:
The Senior Software Engineer role is focused on advancing security integration across the software delivery lifecycle. This position is responsible for designing, automating, and operating secure CI/CD pipelines, cloud infrastructure, and runtime environments. The role collaborates closely with engineering, platform, and security teams to improve security tooling, automate risk mitigation, and uphold security best practices, contributing directly to the organization''s security maturity and operational resilience.
- Responsibilities:
• Operate and enhance application and infrastructure security tools, including SAST, DAST, cloud security platforms, and vulnerability management
• Design, maintain, and update Terraform and infrastructure-as-code modules to meet security standards and regulatory requirements
• Develop and own security automation across development, CI/CD, staging, and production environments to detect and remediate risks
• Integrate security best practices such as secrets management, least-privilege IAM, encrypted communication, and compliance readiness into core infrastructure
• Collaborate with engineering, platform, and security teams to embed DevSecOps principles and reduce security friction
- Requirements:
• 5+ years of experience as a DevOps or DevSecOps Engineer operating production-grade systems at scale
• Proficiency with Linux/Unix environments and hands-on experience with Terraform, Python, and shell scripting for automation and infrastructure management
• Experience designing, deploying, and operating Kubernetes-based platforms, including large-scale containerized environments with Docker and Kubernetes
• Hands-on experience migrating, building, and securing systems in cloud environments such as Azure, AWS, or GCP
• Strong self-management, attention to detail, and troubleshooting abilities, with the capacity to work effectively with minimal supervision
• Ability to obtain a security clearance
- Pay Range and Compensation Package:
• For US-based candidates, the base salary range is $106,600 - $221,400 per year, determined by factors such as experience, skills, certifications, and location
• Compensation for candidates outside the US will vary
• The compensation package may also include additional components not detailed here
