About the Opportunity

The
Software Engineer: Infrastructure
is responsible for ensuring the reliability, security, and performance of the platform that underpins the organization's products. This role plays a critical part in maintaining a secure and resilient environment that handles sensitive data and supports multiple product teams.

The position contributes by designing and operating infrastructure to meet regulatory requirements while enabling faster, safer deployments across the company.

Responsibilities

• Own infrastructure health, performance, and reliability across the stack
• Make architectural decisions and improve infrastructure design and operations
• Design and evolve infrastructure using Terraform
• Enhance CI/CD pipelines, deployments, and developer workflows to increase shipping velocity
• Strengthen security through access control, vulnerability management, and dependency oversight
• Identify and mitigate reliability risks before impacting customers

Requirements

• Experience managing production infrastructure, platform, DevOps, or SRE systems
• Proven ownership of critical systems end-to-end
• Strong experience with PostgreSQL or similar relational databases in production
• Proficiency managing infrastructure as code with Terraform
• Ability to balance reliability, performance, and security tradeoffs
• Preference for automation and improving developer productivity
• Experience operating in regulated environments such as HIPAA or SOC 2 is a plus
• Expertise in PostgreSQL performance tuning or replication management is desirable
• Experience building internal tooling to improve productivity and enhancing observability and security is advantageous

Compensation

Estimated compensation range: $161,000 – $230,000 USD
