  • About the Opportunity:

The Technical Data Analyst III will focus on enhancing the organization’s Content Tooling solution through advanced data analysis, reporting, and data quality management. This role is responsible for delivering accurate, enriched content data by developing and optimizing complex SQL queries, validating data quality, and generating analytics reports. The position works closely with users and cross-functional teams in an Agile/Scrum environment to define data requirements and improve data solutions that support content management and business intelligence efforts.

  • Responsibilities:

• Write and optimize complex SQL queries involving nested joins, temporary tables, aggregations, window functions, and CTEs

• Identify data patterns to evaluate, maintain, and improve data quality across multiple systems

• Conduct root cause and impact analyses to detect and report data quality issues

• Develop reusable, efficient SQL code adhering to best practices with minimal supervision

• Create and maintain analytics reports and dashboards for business stakeholders using BI tools

• Perform data profiling and quality validation to ensure accuracy for downstream users

• Conduct code reviews on SQL and data scripts, offering constructive feedback

• Collaborate with data engineering, product, and analytics teams in an Agile/Scrum setting

  • Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Information Systems, or related field

• Minimum 5 years’ experience writing complex SQL queries with nested joins, temporary tables, aggregations, subqueries, window functions, and CTEs

• 5+ years’ experience with relational databases such as PostgreSQL, SQL Server, or MySQL, including query performance tuning

• Expertise in data profiling, data quality assessment, data validation, and extracting insights from large datasets

• Strong analytical skills with experience performing code and query reviews within Agile/Scrum teams

• Proficient in multiple technologies including SQL databases, BI platforms, data analysis tools, and scripting languages

• Effective communication skills for technical and cross-functional audiences

• Broad understanding of Agile and LEAN principles and their practical application

  • Preferred Experience:

• Hands-on use of Snowflake data warehouse and Sigma Computing for analytics reporting

• Familiarity with healthcare data standards and regulations such as HIPAA and HL7, or healthcare supply chain and IT systems

  • Pay Range and Compensation Package:

• The compensation for this role is $67,000 to $89,500

• The base salary range reflects the anticipated low and high end for this position; actual salary will vary based on candidate qualifications and skills

• Additional compensation includes health, vision, and dental insurance, accident and life insurance, 401k matching, paid time off, and education reimbursement
