Role summary

The Senior Data Scientist, Innovation Lab, will develop advanced analytical solutions and prototype new products using machine learning and deep learning. This role involves extracting actionable insights from structured and unstructured data, designing efficient data structures, and optimizing algorithms to solve complex problems. Responsibilities include analyzing large datasets, validating model performance, and assessing ROI. The ideal candidate possesses a Master's degree or higher in a related field, a minimum of 2 years of experience in AI/data science, and proficiency in Python, deep learning frameworks (PyTorch, TensorFlow), large-scale data processing (pySpark, Hadoop), and NoSQL technologies. Familiarity with LLMs, Generative AI, and GPU programming is also required.

  • About the Opportunity:

The Senior Data Scientist in the Innovation Lab is responsible for developing analytical solutions, prototyping new products, and evaluating data assets to generate actionable insights. This role directly supports the organization’s ability to extract value from diverse data sources and improve client relationships through advanced machine learning and deep learning applications. The position contributes to addressing complex data challenges and enhancing the impact of analytics on strategic decisions.

  • Responsibilities:

• Develop advanced machine learning models to extract insights from structured and unstructured data

• Apply appropriate machine learning, deep learning, and data processing techniques

• Design efficient data structures and storage solutions for improved data manipulation

• Innovate using tools tailored for data processing and information retrieval

• Analyze large datasets to identify patterns and actionable insights

• Create and optimize algorithms to solve complex problems

• Validate model performance and assess return on investment and benefits

  • Requirements:

• Master’s degree or higher in Machine Learning, Data Science, AI, Computer Science, or related field

• Minimum 2 years of experience in AI, data science, or predictive modeling

• Proficient in Python and other programming languages

• Experience with deep learning models (CNN, RNN, LSTM, attention models) and machine learning techniques (SVM, GLM, boosting, random forest)

• Familiarity with graph models or reinforcement learning

• Skilled in open-source tools such as PyTorch, Keras, TensorFlow, scikit-learn, and pandas

• Experience with large-scale data analysis using pySpark

• Knowledge of LLMs and Generative AI tools

• Experience with Hadoop and NoSQL technologies including Map Reduce, Hive, HBase, MongoDB, and Cassandra

• Proven ability to adapt and apply advanced algorithms for practical solutions

• Experience in online and mobile marketing analytics

• Experience with GPU programming

  • Pay Range and Compensation Package:

• Salary range for this position is $153,075 to $275,535

• Compensation reflects work location, skills, experience, and education

• Eligible for a variable pay opportunity
