- Responsibilities:
• Support design and monitoring of underwriting strategies, credit line increases, and portfolio metrics
• Analyze underwriting strategy performance and identify improvement opportunities
• Execute and monitor credit strategy programs including credit line increases and acquisition campaigns
• Support design and evaluation of experiments and champion/challenger tests for credit strategies
• Assist in defining exposure limits, eligibility rules, and acquisition criteria
• Query, clean, and analyze large datasets using SQL and Python
• Develop data assets and dashboards to track customer behavior and credit performance
• Automate routine data and reporting processes
• Perform exploratory data analysis, feature engineering, segmentation, and data quality checks
• Evaluate alternative data sources and support integration into decision processes
• Assist in managing and monitoring credit risk model performance
• Collaborate with Product and Engineering teams to implement policy and decision logic updates
• Translate analytical findings into actionable credit policy recommendations
• Document credit strategies and decision workflows
• Coordinate initiatives involving credit bureaus
• Present insights clearly to stakeholders
- Requirements:
• Degree in Computer Science, Statistics, Economics, Finance, or related field; advanced degree is a plus
• Minimum of 4 years in credit card credit risk analytics; fintech experience preferred
• Experience with credit bureau data for modeling, segmentation, and benchmarking
• Experience in customer targeting and prescreen campaigns
• Experience or exposure to subprime markets or alternative credit data is a plus
• Proficient in SQL and Python or similar tools
• Familiarity with data automation tools such as AWS Glue, Airflow, DBT
• Experience with visualization tools like Tableau, Power BI, or Looker
• Strong skills in Excel or Google Sheets
• Exposure to experimentation design and tracking
• Experience working with large datasets in cloud data warehouses (Snowflake, BigQuery, Redshift)
• Strong analytical skills and attention to data quality
• Ability to communicate data insights into clear recommendations
• Curiosity, ownership mindset, and adaptability in a fast-paced environment
• Collaborative and eager to learn new tools and risk frameworks
- Pay Range and Compensation Package:
• Base salary range is $101,000 to $150,000 annually, with individual pay based on experience, skills, and other factors
