- About the Opportunity:
The Cloud Infrastructure Engineer II will design, build, and manage core compute and critical infrastructure services that support the organization’s control plane, data plane, and product platform. This role is essential to ensuring a secure, scalable, and cost-efficient infrastructure across multi-cloud environments. The position contributes directly to the reliability and performance of the platform and works closely with engineering teams to deliver developer-friendly infrastructure solutions.
- Responsibilities:
• Design, build, test, scale, monitor, and maintain secure, cost-efficient infrastructure in AWS and Azure
• Develop and operate infrastructure as code for repeatable, auditable, and scalable provisioning
• Participate in technical discussions and provide design reviews
• Engage in agile team activities including sprint planning and execution
• Collaborate with product and application teams to understand and meet platform infrastructure needs
• Participate in on-call rotation to address issues and improve system reliability
• Reduce technical debt and operational toil through automation and root cause analysis
- Requirements:
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related technical field
• Experience with mature software development practices including source control, testing, and deployment
• 4+ years engineering cloud infrastructure for microservice-based production systems
• 2+ years experience with Python
• 1+ year experience with Kubernetes and Helm
• 1+ year experience with AWS services including VPC, IAM, S3, Route 53, CloudFront, EKS, ECS, CloudWatch
• 1+ year experience with Terraform and HCL
• Experience with on-call rotations, incident response, and production-grade system operations
• Practical experience using Generative AI tools in daily engineering workflows
• Strong communication skills and ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, remote-first environment
- Pay Range and Compensation Package:
• Base salary range: $149,200—$214,500 USD
• Actual compensation will be determined based on skills, experience, qualifications, and geographic location
• This role may be eligible for bonus or incentive compensation, equity, and a comprehensive benefits package
