• About the Opportunity:

The Staff Software Engineer, Dev AI, Developer Infrastructure plays a critical role in shaping and advancing the technical strategy and infrastructure for AI-powered developer tools. This position impacts how engineering teams across the organization work by building foundational AI tooling that enhances productivity throughout the software development lifecycle. The role includes enabling other teams to create domain-specific AI tools and accelerating innovation across the company’s product range. It requires collaboration, technical leadership, and a focus on delivering measurable developer impact in a rapidly evolving AI landscape.

• Responsibilities:

• Shape and drive the AI for Developers strategy from ideation through delivery

• Make architectural and technical decisions that balance ambition with operational constraints

• Stay current on AI tooling trends and guide innovation with measurable developer outcomes

• Act as a champion, coach, and consultant to empower teams in adopting AI capabilities

• Promote engineering excellence with high-quality code, thoughtful design, and reliable systems

• Participate in on-call rotations and maintain operational excellence for platform components

• Requirements:

• 9+ years of industry experience or equivalent expertise

• Experience building developer infrastructure, tooling, or platforms at scale

• Practical experience applying AI technologies to software development challenges

• Ability to quickly learn new domains, technologies, or languages with enthusiasm for continuous learning

• Proven success in cross-functional collaboration with strong communication skills

• Proficiency in one or more of Go, Python, Typescript, or Kotlin

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree or equivalent experience

• Pay Range and Compensation Package:

• Pay Range $204,000—$255,000 USD
