  • About the Opportunity:

The Staff Machine Learning Engineer role is part of the Enterprise AI Engineering team responsible for advancing the organization''s AI capabilities. The position focuses on developing machine learning and generative AI applications that transform customer support operations and other business functions. This role directly contributes to improving operational efficiency and driving innovation by delivering AI-powered tools and solutions that meet the diverse needs of the company’s verticals and customers.

  • Responsibilities:

• Build and deploy machine learning models utilizing NLP, recommendation systems, and generative AI applications.

• Collaborate with product, program, analytics, and engineering teams to implement and refine models that support business outcomes.

• Use technical tools including Python, SQL, R, AWS services (Sagemaker, Lambda, S3, Kendra), MySQL, and libraries like Pandas, NumPy, SciKit-Learn, XGBoost, Matplotlib, and Keras to create scalable AI/ML solutions.

• Integrate enterprise data from sources such as Salesforce and Zendesk to improve predictive models.

• Apply expertise in Large Language Models (LLMs) including OpenAI GPT, Claude, Gemini, Llama, Whisper, and Groq to develop innovative generative AI use cases.

  • Requirements:

• Minimum 5 years of applied machine learning engineering experience.

• Experience building and deploying AI models leveraging NLP and generative AI technologies.

• Proven ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams to refine machine learning and forecasting models.

• Proficiency with technical stacks including Python, SQL, R, AWS (Sagemaker, Lambda, S3, Kendra), MySQL, Airtable, and relevant libraries.

• Experience using enterprise data sources like Salesforce and Zendesk for model development.

• Knowledge of Large Language Models (LLMs) such as OpenAI GPT, Claude, Gemini, Llama, Whisper, and Groq.

Desired:

• Familiarity with LLM-related techniques such as retrieval-augmented generation (RAG), agent frameworks, model fine-tuning, few-shot prompting, and prompt engineering.

• Experience with Python frameworks like Llamaindex, Langchain, Streamlit, Gradio, FastHTML, and Chainlit.

• Research experience with publications in top-tier peer-reviewed conferences or journals.
