Security Analyst - Remote (Security Clearance Required)

• About the Opportunity:

The \*\*Security Analyst\*\* role is centered on supporting and improving the security posture of non-production environments by analyzing and reporting vulnerabilities. This position plays a critical role in detecting and assessing security risks to ensure compliance with government-grade security frameworks. The role impacts the organization''s ability to maintain strong defenses against cyber threats by providing detailed vulnerability assessments and supporting compliance validation efforts.

• Responsibilities:

• Support and enhance vulnerability management lifecycle for non-production systems aligned with FedRAMP IL5 requirements

• Conduct vulnerability scans, analysis, and reporting in test and staging environments

• Provide detailed vulnerability assessments and remediation recommendations to internal teams

• Maintain knowledge of vulnerabilities, exploits, and mitigation strategies relevant to defense and federal compliance

• Evaluate impacts of vulnerabilities and document compensating controls or mitigations

• Triage scan results to identify true positives and reduce false positives

• Develop metrics and reports to support security visibility and compliance documentation

• Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Security or related field

• Experience with incident response and threat detection

• Understanding of vulnerability management standards and frameworks (CVE, CVSS) and their application to IL5 compliance

• Technical knowledge of systems, virtual machines, cloud infrastructure, networking, and secure configurations relevant to government-grade systems

• Demonstrated accountability, analytical skills, and collaboration in high-compliance, security-conscious environments

• Active Secret Security Clearance

• Pay Range and Compensation Package:

• For US-based candidates, the base salary ranges from $58,800 to $122,200 per year, with compensation determined by experience, skills, certifications, and location

• Compensation for candidates outside the US will vary

• The package may include incentive opportunities such as annual bonuses
