• About the Opportunity:

The IT Cloud Engineer role is responsible for designing, delivering, and supporting enterprise cloud solutions that meet technical and business needs. This position involves developing and automating cloud platform features, collaborating with development teams to ensure smooth application deployment, and maintaining compliance with architectural and security standards. The role plays a critical part in improving cloud infrastructure, integrating systems, and supporting secure, efficient cloud operations.

• Responsibilities:

• Develop and enable features in existing cloud products

• Design, deliver, and support enterprise cloud solutions

• Automate tasks using scripts and tools

• Develop and comply with service level agreements (SLAs) or operational level agreements (OLAs)

• Document solutions, installation instructions, and system information

• Write cloud platform configurations using appropriate tools

• Collaborate with developers on DevOps practices

• Maintain tools and frameworks for application development

• Implement automation and orchestration technologies

• Integrate cloud solutions with enterprise systems

• Ensure cloud solutions comply with architectural standards

• Evaluate cloud technology standards, tools, and products for improvements

• Work with information security to maintain a secure cloud environment

• Assist in planning, installation, configuration, and maintenance of cloud solutions

• Support role-based access control, cost management, and cloud account administration

• Contribute to time and cost estimation for cloud projects

• Review and modify cloud system specifications and compatibility parameters

• Evaluate technical requirements impacting infrastructure redundancy and capacity

• Maintain physical design for cloud-based infrastructure and platforms

• Requirements:

• Experience with Google Cloud Platform components including Cloud Run, GKE, Cloud SQL, Cloud Build, Artifact Registry, Workflows, Cloud Functions, Cloud Load Balancing, IAM, Identity-Aware Proxy, VPC Service Controls, Private Service Connect, VPC networking, and Cloud Armor

• Proficiency with Terraform, Python, Azure Pipelines, Azure DevOps

• Familiarity with Google Cloud APIs, Apigee APIs

• Knowledge of automation tools and concepts

• Experience with Cloud Load Balancing, Akamai Web Security, Identity-Aware Proxy

• Experience with Checkov, Veracode, Sailpoint

• Competence in managing service accounts and permissions

• Experience with ServiceNow and Sharepoint

• Strong technical aptitude, quick learning ability, and effective communication skills

• Ability to work collaboratively within a team setting

• This position is not eligible for visa sponsorship or transfer and does not participate in the F-1 STEM OPT extension program

• Pay Range and Compensation Package:

• The pay range and compensation package for this role will be determined based on the candidate’s experience, skills, and other relevant factors.
