About Our Client:

The organization operates at the intersection of decentralized finance and artificial intelligence, developing infrastructure to support autonomous AI trading agents on the Hyperliquid network. It addresses the critical challenge of maintaining reliable, secure systems in high-stakes financial environments where downtime can expose open financial positions to risk. The platform supports dozens of concurrent AI agents managing real-time financial workloads, emphasizing resilience and zero-downtime operation.

About the Opportunity:

The Senior DevOps / SRE Engineer will be responsible for owning and architecting the infrastructure that supports multiple autonomous AI trading agents. This role ensures the continuous, secure, and high-performance operation of systems where reliability directly impacts financial capital protection. The engineer will develop and maintain systems that enable zero-downtime deployments, comprehensive monitoring, and incident management tailored to real-time financial trading environments.

Responsibilities:

• Build and maintain infrastructure for concurrent AI trading agents, managing cron schedules, state files, and trailing stop processes

• Deploy and manage agent environments, including workspace persistence and isolated session management

• Design and operate CI/CD pipelines for shipping trading skills and plugins without interrupting live trading

• Execute zero-downtime deployment strategies to protect active financial positions

• Develop full-stack observability and alerting systems to detect failures and prevent financial loss

• Operate and scale core infrastructure including Kubernetes (EKS), Redis, Postgres, ClickHouse, and Kafka

• Maintain blockchain node infrastructure and connectivity to exchange APIs and on-chain transaction systems

• Lead incident response, debugging, mitigation, and post-mortems to improve platform reliability

Requirements:

• Proven expertise deploying and managing AWS EKS Kubernetes clusters

• Proficiency with Infrastructure as Code tools like Terraform or Ansible

• Hands-on experience with Docker and Helm for containerization

• Experience operating production-grade data and messaging systems (Redis, Postgres/RDS, ClickHouse, Kafka)

• Strong skills with observability tools such as Prometheus, Grafana, Datadog, Loki, or OpenTelemetry

• Ability to debug code in multiple languages including Python, Node.js, and Go

• Understanding of real-time systems where latency and reliability affect financial outcomes

• Familiarity with blockchain node infrastructure, exchange APIs, wallet operations, and on-chain monitoring

• Experience managing secrets, access controls, and production hardening for sensitive environments

• Background in defining SLOs and building mature on-call practices

Preferred:

• Experience with OpenClaw agent deployments and workspace templates

• Familiarity with Model Context Protocol (MCP) server deployment and authentication

• Direct experience with Hyperliquid or other decentralized exchange protocols

• Background in fintech, market data infrastructure, or high-frequency trading systems

Pay Range and Compensation Package:

• Compensation range: $120,000 to $150,000 annually
