A rapidly growing wellness and aesthetics platform seeks a hands-on Lead Data Engineer to own its data ecosystem. This role bridges data engineering, systems integration, and business intelligence, focusing on ensuring data accuracy, scalability, and actionability. The Lead Data Engineer will be responsible for evaluating and improving data architecture, simplifying data flows, building and maintaining integrations with key platforms (Zenoti, NetSuite, HubSpot, GA4, Meta, CallRail), and developing BI dashboards for leadership. The position requires direct, hands-on experience with data warehouses like Snowflake, ETL pipelines, and APIs, with a strong emphasis on problem-solving and direct execution. This is a remote, full-time role.

We are seeking a highly capable and hands-on Lead Data Engineer to take ownership of our data ecosystem across a rapidly growing, multi-location wellness and aesthetics platform.
This role sits at the intersection of data engineering, systems integration, and business intelligence, with responsibility for ensuring our data environment is accurate, scalable, and actionable as we grow through both organic expansion and acquisitions.
We are looking for someone who enjoys rolling up their sleeves and building, while also having the judgment to guide architecture and leverage external partners when needed.

What You’ll OwnData Architecture & Integrity
- Evaluate and improve our current data architecture
- Simplify and streamline data flows across multiple systems
- Ensure data accuracy, consistency, and reliability across the business
- Establish best practices for data structure, governance, and system interoperability
Systems Integration
- Build, maintain, and troubleshoot integrations across key platforms, including:
- Zenoti (EMR / operations)
- NetSuite (financial reporting)
- HubSpot (CRM)
- GA4 (web analytics)
- Meta (paid media / engagement data)
- CallRail (call tracking)
- Work with APIs, ETL pipelines, and data connectors to ensure clean, reliable data flow
- Diagnose integration challenges and resolve them directly or coordinate with external partners
Business Intelligence & Reporting
- Own reporting and analytics across the organization
- Build and maintain dashboards that provide clear, actionable insights for leadership
- Translate complex data into meaningful business intelligence across operations, marketing, and finance
Zenoti Ownership & Acquisition Integration
- Support ongoing optimization and data structure within Zenoti
- Lead or assist with onboarding new acquisitions, including:
- Data migration and normalization
- System integration into the broader data environment
- Ensuring reporting continuity post-integration
Vendor & Partner Management
- Evaluate current third-party vendors supporting data and integrations
- Determine when to build internally vs. leverage external support
- Clearly define requirements and ensure high-quality execution from partners
Hands-On Ownership (Critical to Success)
This is a highly hands-on role. You will be expected to directly build, modify, and manage components of our data ecosystem — not just design or oversee them.
You should be comfortable:
- Writing and troubleshooting data pipelines (ETL / APIs)
- Working directly within Snowflake or similar data warehouses
- Building and maintaining dashboards and reporting layers
- Diagnosing issues across systems and resolving them independently when possible

Ideal Candidate Profile
We are looking for a builder and problem-solver who takes ownership and enjoys working across systems.
Required Experience
- Strong experience in data engineering, data architecture, or analytics engineering
- Hands-on experience with data warehouses (Snowflake preferred)
- Experience building and maintaining ETL pipelines and system integrations (APIs)
- Proven ability to work across multiple systems and reconcile data between them
- Experience building BI dashboards and reporting solutions
Preferred Experience
- Experience with Zenoti or similar multi-location operational platforms
- Familiarity with:
- NetSuite (financial data)
- HubSpot (CRM)
- GA4, Meta, CallRail (marketing analytics)
- Experience in a multi-unit or multi-location business environment
- Exposure to acquisition integration or system consolidation

Pay: $165,000.00 - $185,000.00 per year
