Role summary

RMG is seeking a Program Manager to lead audit readiness, internal controls, and financial operations for the DoD Transportation Financial Management (TFM) mission. This high-impact, government-facing leadership role requires 10+ years of program management experience supporting DoD or federal financial systems, with proven expertise in FIAR/audit readiness and internal controls. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of DoD financial operations, data integrity, and experience in transportation or logistics financial environments. Responsibilities include serving as the primary interface with Government leadership, overseeing program execution, managing risk, and driving process improvement. A Bachelor's degree in a related field is required.

DoD Audit & Financial Operations

RMG is seeking a Program Manager to lead audit readiness, internal controls, and financial operations in support of the DoD Transportation Financial Management (TFM) mission.

This is a high-impact, Government-facing leadership role responsible for delivering mission-critical audit and financial services across a complex DoD logistics environment.

What You’ll Do

  • Serve as the primary interface with Government leadership
  • Lead program execution across audit readiness (FIAR), internal controls, and financial operations
  • Oversee quality, performance, and delivery across all task areas
  • Manage risk, staffing, and program performance in a dynamic environment
  • Coordinate with key stakeholders including DLA, DFAS, USTRANSCOM, and audit organizations
  • Drive process improvement and audit success across transportation financial systems

What You Bring

  • 10+ years program management experience supporting DoD or federal financial systems
  • Proven experience in FIAR / audit readiness and internal controls
  • Experience supporting SOC 1 or similar audit environments
  • Strong understanding of DoD financial operations and data integrity
  • Ability to lead cross-functional teams and engage senior Government stakeholders
  • Experience in transportation or logistics financial environments preferred

Education

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Information Technology, Business, or related field

Nice to Have

  • Experience supporting DLA Transportation / TFM
  • Familiarity with TPPS (U.S. Bank Freight Payment System)
  • PMP or equivalent certification
  • Active DoD Security Clearance
