Role summary

Restaurant Technologies is seeking a remote Demand and Supply Analyst to manage depot inventory, optimize stock levels, and contribute to supply chain strategies. This role involves demand forecasting, supply planning, and cross-functional collaboration to ensure customer demand is met while minimizing costs. The analyst will leverage analytical skills, particularly in Excel and ERP systems like Oracle Fusion, to identify trends, drive process improvements, and present actionable insights within the S&OP process. The position requires a strong understanding of supply chain principles and business acumen, with a high degree of ownership and critical thinking.

Demand and Supply Analyst  
 

Restaurant Technologies is hiring a Demand and Supply Analyst. In this role, you will be responsible for owning the Depot inventory decisions and transactions by creating and managing transfer orders to Depots within Oracle Fusion and managing Depot inventory parameters. You will also generate actionable insights for the development and implementation of supply chain strategies, demand forecasting and optimizing inventory levels to meet customer demand while minimizing costs. You will provide analysis and recommendations within cross-functional teams, driving process improvements, and contributing to the overall success of serving Restaurant Technologies’ internal and external customers.

Compensation:  

The base salary range for this position is $60,000 - $70,000 annually, plus a 10% bonus opportunity. Please note that the base salary will vary based on experience, geographic location and market conditions. 

Location & Travel:  

This position is open for fully remote work to qualified candidates located in the continental US. Preference will be given to candidates who are currently located in the Minneapolis-St. Paul metropolitan area and are open to hybrid work arrangements. Anticipate up to quarterly travel for business meetings; travel frequency may vary based on your location. 

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Order Management: Analyze, approve and create internal transfer orders to deploy inventory to Depots; work with warehouse and logistics teams to ensure timely and efficient fulfillment of orders. 
  • Inventory Management: Analyze and update optimal Depot inventory levels to minimize excess/obsolete stock while ensuring sufficient availability to meet customer needs. 
  • Supply Planning: Recommend supplier order adjustments to Supply Planner in order to ensure supply plans are aligned with the demand forecasts. 
  • Demand Forecasting: Update and analyze forecast accuracy reports to recommend forecast changes to the Demand Planner in maintaining accurate demand forecasts based on sales trends, historical data, and market intelligence.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Present forecast accuracy results in the S&OP process with recommendations for changes to align supply, demand, and business objectives; Identify supply-demand gaps; Working with Sales, Marketing, Finance, and Operations to align forecasts and plans.
  • Process Improvement: Identify risks and opportunities within the supply-demand network and recommend adjustments. 

Required Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 2 + years MRP demand planning, supply chain planning, or inventory/order management, or related analyst experience.
  • Minimum of 2+ years of experience working with Oracle or similar ERP systems.  
  • Excellent analytical skills, especially in Excel to aggregate/summarize large amounts of historical data and identifying trends or problems
  • Critical thinking and problem-solving abilities with a high sense of ownership and commitment to performance excellence. 
  • Communication Skills: Ability to explain complex data to non-technical stakeholders (ie. Sales, Marketing, Finance).
  • Collaboration: Strong cross-functional collaboration skills, especially working with internal customers 
  • Understanding of Supply Chain Principles: Knowledge of how demand impacts inventory, production, and distribution.
  • Business Acumen: Understand how market trends, sales strategies, and external factors impact demand.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Supply Chain Management, Business, Finance, Economics, Statistics, Industrial Engineering, or a related field.
  • Influencing Skills: Ability to challenge assumptions and drive alignment in S&OP processes.
