Position Overview

The Chief Technology Officer (CTO) is responsible for defining and executing the company’s overall technology vision, architecture, and engineering strategy.

This role leads the development of scalable, high-performance systems and ensures that technology capabilities drive product innovation and business growth.

Key Responsibilities

• Technology Strategy & Vision

Define and lead the company’s technology roadmap and long-term architecture.

Align technology strategy with product and business objectives.

Evaluate and adopt emerging technologies to maintain competitive advantage.

• Engineering Leadership

Build, lead, and scale high-performing engineering teams.

Establish engineering standards, development practices, and culture.

Drive execution excellence across all technical teams.

• System Architecture & Scalability

Design and oversee scalable, low-latency, and high-availability systems.

Ensure platform performance under high concurrency and global usage.

Lead architecture decisions for distributed systems and cloud infrastructure.

Collaborate with product leadership to develop innovative solutions.

Drive development of new features, products, and platforms.

Support rapid iteration and product-market fit.

• Platform Reliability & Performance

Ensure system uptime, resilience, and performance optimization.

Implement monitoring, alerting, and incident response frameworks.

Maintain high service reliability standards.

• Security & Risk Collaboration

Work closely with security and compliance teams.

Ensure secure coding practices and infrastructure protection.

Mitigate technical risks and vulnerabilities.

• Technology Governance & Investment

Manage technology budgets and resource allocation.

Evaluate build vs buy decisions.

Ensure ROI on technology investments.

Qualifications

Required

Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.

15+ years of experience in software engineering and technology leadership.

Proven experience building large-scale, high-performance systems.

Strong expertise in distributed systems, cloud architecture, and backend engineering.

Preferred

Experience in fintech, trading platforms, or high-frequency systems.

Familiarity with blockchain, crypto infrastructure, or Web3 technologies.

Experience scaling engineering teams in high-growth environments.
